Swine Flu

Oxfordshire NHS Trust has prepared two documents to help people prepare for the arrival of swine flu.  They set out how you can form a "flu friend network" with information on what documents a "flu friend" would need in order to collect anti viral drugs on behalf of someone else.

Prepare your home for a flu pandemic

Members of the church can use their fellow cell, or small group, members as their flu friends.  It may be useful to read the information about flu friends to see how you could help vulnerable neighbours if they succumb to the virus.

If there are people in Loudwater who cannot find a flu friend, then the church office will be happy to try to find someone from the congregation who lives nearby to help.   Please call the church office on 01628 526087 or use the contact form if you need help in this respect.

Finally, if you feel flu like symptoms coming on, please bless us all by following medical advice and staying away from church.  We will arrange for prayer cover and any practical help we can provide if you contact your cell leader (or non-members, if you contact the church office) by telephone or e-mail.
