We believe the whole Bible was written for a purpose and aim to cover it all, not just our favourite bits, over a period of time.  We can't guarantee not to bore you, but the aim of each talk, or "sermon," is to relate the bit of the Bible we're looking at to life today.

The Bible is not a book of answers to questions posed by the 21st century, neither is it a repository of timeless truths with no context in real life.  The Bible is the narrative of God’s dealings with people.  So we don’t always get straightforward answers, “do this” or “do that”, but we do learn the heart of God from these stories.

We plan most of our talks or sermons to run in a logical series, rather than jump about  from week to week, although each one should make sense in its own right.  You can discuss any issues that a particular sermon raises mid-week if you join one of the small groups, or cells.

An outline of the current and recent sermon series is set out below.

You can download the notes used in cell groups (in either Word or PDF format) by clicking on the appropriate link in the table below.

Details of earlier sermon series, including the cell notes, can be found on the past sermon series page.

Recordings of sermons are now available to be downloaded (in mp3 format). Just click the sermon title below and you will be asked to open the file. Click "Open" and the recording will play in your default audio software (e.g. Windows Media Player). Recordings are also available for some of the earlier sermons on the past sermon series page.

Powerpoint slides are available for some sermons as indicated below the preacher's name.

Recordings from some other meetings are available from time to time, for example occasional midweek central meetings, and can be found at the end of this page.
