MANAGING MONEY GOD’S WAY
Friday 12 September, 7.30pm - 9.30 pm
A Biblical Introduction to Money and Budgeting presented by Kevin Vickers of Stewardship Money.
This will be a prelude to the launching of our own "Money Ministry" in the autumn.
Parish Weekend 28-30 November 2008
Rev Dr Russ Parker, Director of the Acorn Christian Healing Trust, will be the speaker at our parish weekend, which will culminate in a parish lunch after the Sunday service. Do put the date in your diary now.
Alpha at St Peter's
The next course will start in the autumn, with the opportunity to ask all the questions you want to, as the members try to find out if Christianity really is boring, untrue and irrelevant.
The course starts with a Supper and continues each Tuesday evening.

Building Project - St Peter's gears up for the 21st century
The biggest changes to the church building in over 100 years are now complete. After four years of planning and donations of £600,000 by the congregation, the church is back in use after its major refurbishment. Outstanding exterior groundworks including a ramp from the car park have now been completed... more
News from the past
The discovery of a "time capsule" from 1903 has shown us that the congregation of over a hundred years ago faced similar issues to those we face now. It is interesting to note that one of the decisions recorded was to replace the pews with "more modern" chairs, a decision that was reversed in the 1950's when pine pews were re-introduced. ...more
