About Us

We are an informal, lively and (hopefully!) friendly church - by definition, we are the Anglican parish church for Loudwater.  About 300 adults of all ages, 50 youth and 100 younger children (from birth upwards!) attend various events and services on a regular basis.  See what you can expect on a Sunday morning, by looking at our Services and Meetings page.

If you have read enough and just want to know how to find us  (and where to park) or check our Service Times, then click the coloured links; if you want to know more first, then read on.  Nearby parking is no problem on a Sunday, but more of a challenge during the week!

You will receive a warm welcome whether you join us for a single service while visiting the area, come to check us out, or worship with us week by week.  Tea and coffee are provided free after both Sunday morning services so you will have a chance to mingle and meet a few people.  Do use the Contact Us page on this site if you would like us to make follow up contact with you.  Alternatively you can fill in a blue card at the Welcome Desk after Sunday services.

Our teaching is firmly based on the Bible and on encouraging  either a first-time or a deeper personal relationship with Jesus.  Sunday services are backed up with mid-week meetings in small groups (which we call cells) and we run numerous activities for special interests and age groups.  Do look at Why are we here? and What we believe for more of a flavour of what we are like, or What goes on to see what activities may be of interest to you.

You might ask who makes up this ubiquitous "we"?  We let our own lady of the press interview a few people for you, one or two volunteered to tell their stories and the staff were given no option!  Have a look at St Peter's People and come and meet them.
